Internship and Literary Mission

The teacher trainees have to compulsory attend the internship programme of one week. For internship, schools nearer to trainees residence are selected so that it is convenient for the trainees to reach there. The trainees have to work there same as the teacher of that school. A group of 5 to 6 trainees are allotted in each school. Lecturers go there on alternate days for a visit. The trainees have to give lessons and conduct all the activities just like a teacher. They have to prepare class register, fill the log book, exam form of 10th & 12th standard, study and write down rules for class promotion, observe the lessons of the teachers of that school, observe various registers, C. R. C, prepare cultural programme, various competitions, do the practical work, carries out action research, uses psychological tests, etc.

Literacy Mission

Every year college participate in the literacy mission conducted by Gujarat State. Teacher trainees have to attend the literacy mission carried out by government compulsory. After the school time, they have to go to the school selected for literacy mission. In literacy mission, they have to educate the uneducated people.
